Jhamtse Gatsal’s Logo
The Jhamtse logo is a Lentsa script. Lentsa is a Brahmic script (also called Ranjana script in India) developed during the 11the century. Lentsa scripts have been used for many generations in Tibet and the Himalayan region for ceremonial purposes; for decoration of places with special significance, such as temples; in mandalas; and for writing mantras, such as Compassion Mantras. The combination of the two Lentsa syllables for Love and Compassion makes a most appropriate Logo for Jhamtse and its counterparts because it expresses the essence of our work in a very unique and artistic way.
