Indian citizens from outside the state of Arunachal Pradesh and International foreigners are required to obtain a permit before entrance is allowed into the state, because it is a protected area. See our location page to learn more about the reason for the permits.
We strongly discourage people dropping in during the academic day unannounced. We prefer that short visits be scheduled for Saturdays or Sundays or weekdays from 3:30 – 5:00pm.
If you would like to visit the community for any reason, please contact us to schedule a time, to get directions, prepare permits, or arrange transportation to the community.
