When I started this new phase of my life, leaving behind the familiar comforts and close relationships of Jhamtse Gatsal, I felt both excited and nervous. The transition to a busy city like Sonipat seemed challenging initially, but deep down, I knew it held great potential for my personal growth and academic development.

One of the most noticeable things about my experience at Rishihood University was the diverse and lively community I became a part of. Interacting with fellow students from various backgrounds and cultures broadened my horizons and enriched my understanding of the world. Each interaction was a chance to exchange ideas, challenge perspectives, and build meaningful connections. It was heartening to see people with different backgrounds coming together, and I felt fortunate to be a part of such an inclusive and open-minded environment.

Academically, pursuing a Bachelor of Design degree opened up new opportunities for creativity and self-expression. The curriculum was designed to nurture my artistic skills while also teaching me about design principles and methods. From attending interesting lectures to working on practical projects, I constantly felt inspired and motivated to explore my creativity further. The faculty members, with their vast knowledge and industry experience, served as mentors and guides, encouraging me to explore new concepts and improve my skills.

I enjoyed various design academic assignments such as perspective drawing, exploring different materials, visiting design exhibitions, and many more.

Living away from home in Sonipat had its own challenges. The independence and responsibility that came with it allowed me to discover my true strengths and adaptability. There were times when I missed home and longed for the warmth and love I experienced at Jhamtse Gatsal. However, the support system I found at Rishihood University helped me navigate through those moments of vulnerability. The friendships I built became sources of strength, providing comfort and companionship during both happy and difficult times.

Despite the distance, my roots at Jhamtse Gatsal remained an important part of my identity. The values of love, compassion, and community that I learned there continued to guide me throughout my journey. I found comfort in incorporating those values into my interactions with others, fostering empathy and understanding within the larger university community.

As I reflect on my time at Rishihood University, I feel gratitude for the opportunities and experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today. The journey from Jhamtse Gatsal to Rishihoodhas been one of self-discovery, growth, and change. It has taught me to embrace new challenges, appreciate diverse perspectives, and nurture the spirit of compassion within me.

Now, after 3 years, I hope to be prepared to graduate and enter the world beyond. I would like to carry with me the lessons learned and the connections made during four years of my time at RishihoodUniversity. I feel hopeful and optimistic, knowing that the education and experiences that I will be gaining will not only shape my professional journey but also inspire me to contribute positively to society, just as Jhamtse Gatsal Children's Community has done for me.

Thank you!
