Dear Friend, Greetings from Jhamtse Gatsal!  Below we share an inspiring story from Tenzin Dondul - Teacher, Coach, and founder of the Jhamtse Futbol Club (JFC) - and recent recipient of The Huracan Foundation Grant for using soccer as a catalyst for learning. Coach Tenzin highlights his philosophy of how sports help people become "the best version of themselves." He also is the Coach of the Jhamtse Futbol Club. Coach Tenzin sees football as a catalyst to teach disciple and responsibility. Having started the Jhamtse Futbol Club in 2018, he has witnessed first-hand what a significant impact it can have on his students. Being awarded the Huracan Foundation Grant is validation that Coach Tenzin is indeed "changing lives through the power of soccer."  Read more from Coach Tenzin Lumto N.
