Dear Friend,
Greetings from Jhamtse Gatsal Children’s Community! We aspire to make the time you take to read our newsletters more enriching, as your support and encouragement have enriched our lives and work. We love sharing stories from Jhamtse Gatsal, AND we love to hear from you!
Please send us an email or request a meeting to share thoughts on stories that resonate with you or community aspects you’d like to learn about in upcoming newsletters.
Today, we share an uplifting story about a 2-day dental camp at Jhamtse Gatsal. We never tire of saying that “we cannot do this without YOU” and how critical and encouraging a support system you are to us. We pray that moments of joy, peace, and happiness always fill your life.
With gratitude and appreciation,
Vasudha Wanchoo

Student Tenzin Y receives a dental exam

Earlier this month, Dr. Yangchin Drema and Dr. Pem Chotton from Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, volunteered at Jhamtse Gatsal Children's Community to conduct an extensive 2-day Dental Camp, which included dental exams, treatment, and engaging awareness sessions. We truly appreciate the time, effort, and enthusiasm that Dr. Drema and Dr. Chotton brought to the children’s dental care experience.

Tenzin is friendly with all the children and staff. He is a boy who loves to listen to music and crack jokes. He is from Zangkhar village. His favorite color is blue, and he loves to eat momos. He spends his free time playing football and reading comic books.

Every year, the Community comes together with great joy and enthusiasm to celebrate the birthday of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and pray for his long life. The celebration includes music and dancing.
